About us
Mangal Exports started its operations in early 90s in thread industry. The invention of the sewing machine made it possible to produce clothing on a large scale, which led to a surge in demand for thread. Thread was not exclusively used for making clothes but also for rugs that were used in big houses. While manufacturing and supplying threads for rug industry there came learning from the industry too.
Mangal Exports with gradual years of learning the supply chain of Indian Carpets & Rugs Industry entered in it with its quality assurance of threads used and weaving done by the Indian artisans in 1996. With time it explored various aspects in Industry including:

With experience of more than two decades in the Industry we at Mangal Exports use concept coined by Dr.Hermann Ebbinghaus “The Learning Curve”. Achieving the Balance between Cost of a Rug and Quality of Rug is specialty of Mangal Exports. Having a wide knowledge of quality of rugs by catering to different classes of customers thus showcasing our expanded horizon.

As an Indian Manufacturing and Trading firm we follow our Indian Culture “Atithi Devo Bhava” with pride. Atithi Devo Bhava is a Sanskrit verse, translated literally it means “The guest is equivalent to God”. It is taken from ancient Hindu scripture and has become part of the codes of conduct for the Hindu society. Fulfilling the needs of customer is duty of every business but serving them with utmost hospitality and care is what Indian Culture teaches.
Our Founder
Mr. Hemant Kumar Gupta found out in his early teenage the love towards weaving of rugs. His hometown (Tonk, Rajasthan) being the hub of traditional handicrafts was a town of talented craftsmanship. As he got chance of trading threads between the craftsmen around the town the destiny gave him a chance to enter in the Rug Industry. The young man started his new venture in his early 20s with handful of artisans in his small town and currently has led this venture to new heights with having more than 100 active artisans around the state at various remote places who believe in him and Mangal Exports.
